The Kasbah Museum, housed in the former Sultan’s palace known as Dar el-Makhzen, offers a rich glimpse into the history and culture of Morocco. Located at the highest point of the city within the“fortress” of the Old Medina, the museum is surrounded by the scenic Kasbah, overlooking both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

The museum’s collections feature archaeological finds, artifacts from the Phoenician, Roman, and Islamic periods, as well as traditional Moroccan art.
Visitors can explore exhibits on Morocco’s ancient civilizations, learn about Tangier’s role as a
cultural crossroads, and admire the palace’s architecture and lush gardens.
